We conduct Technical Survey operations to gather evidence of the presence of explosive ordnance and to develop an action plan for their removal, ensuring that the territory becomes safe for use.

During Technical Survey, we adhere to the following core principles:

• the safety of our personnel is always the highest priority;

• systematic evidence collection to accurately determine the condition of the area;

• verification and refinement of previously collected data to determine the level of risk;

• Technical Survey may be carried out only by Level 2 humanitarian demining teams equipped with metal detectors, individual deminer kits, and all necessary tools.

UA Demining deminers are equipped with high-quality gear and possess the required skills to perform manual demining.

The main tasks of our team during Technical Survey include:

• detection and identification of explosive ordnance using specialized technical equipment;

• establishing and marking safe boundaries within the surveyed area;

• developing an action plan for demining or clearance;

• assessing social and economic factors that may influence task prioritization;

• preparing reporting documentation on the results of the survey.

We conduct Technical Survey independently or in combination with other demining methods, including manual demining and mechanical demining.
